Long-term treatment cannot wait for an emergency to pass
A missed prescription or interrupted course of treatment can turn a manageable condition into an emergency. Kidney patients can lose access to dialysis inputs. Heart and diabetes patients can run short of medicines that keep their condition stable.
PIMA supports vulnerable patients with essential medicines and appropriate follow-up through its medical network.
A prescription should not become the reason a treatable condition gets worse.
