Restoring a space for Gaza’s smallest patients
PIMA has completed its Neonatal Care project at Al-Khair Hospital in Gaza. This page records that work and thanks the supporters who helped make it possible.

This is a completed-project update, not an appeal to fund the same restoration again. For today’s giving opportunities, explore the current appeals below.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught that those who show mercy will be shown mercy.Jami at-Tirmidhi 1924
Mercy here is practical: a prepared bed, working equipment and a medical team able to act when a baby needs them.

The project
A clinical space prepared for newborn care
PIMA’s published project account describes restoring and equipping the Neonatal Care Unit at Al-Khair Hospital. The work focused on a clinical environment for premature and critically ill newborns.
Specialist monitoring, warmth and appropriate equipment are important parts of neonatal care. The restoration addressed the space and equipment needed to support medical teams caring for these fragile patients.
