As Gaza’s healthcare system continues to operate under immense pressure, PIMA successfully completed the renovation of the Doctors’ Conference Room within the Surgical Department at Al-Shifa Hospital in January 2026.

 

The project aimed to restore a vital professional and operational space for medical teams working tirelessly under extremely challenging conditions. The renovated conference room now provides doctors and surgical staff with a functional environment for patient case discussions, emergency coordination, medical planning, and team meetings.

 

Years of conflict and ongoing strain on hospital infrastructure had left many essential hospital facilities damaged or no longer suitable for effective medical use. Through this renovation, PIMA helped improve working conditions for frontline healthcare professionals serving thousands of patients in Gaza.

 

This initiative reflects PIMA’s continued commitment to strengthening Gaza’s health sector by rehabilitating critical hospital spaces and supporting the medical teams dedicated to saving lives every day.
