Help a vulnerable child receive the medical care they need
CHILD WELLNESS
Illness, injury and long-term conditions can interrupt a child's health and development. PIMA supports medical assessment, treatment, medicines and follow-up for orphaned and vulnerable children and families.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: I and the one who sponsors an orphan will be in Paradise like this.Sahih al-Bukhari 6005
Medical sponsorship turns that care into practical support for a child or vulnerable family facing illness without a dependable route to treatment.
Why child wellness matters
Care that protects health, dignity and development
Treatment cannot wait
Long-term conditions still need medicine, monitoring and clinical follow-up.
A month with more stability
Regular support helps PIMA plan beyond one emergency delivery.
Care with dignity
The patient remains a person with a family, responsibilities and hope.

THE CARE NEED
A child should not lose treatment because their family has lost stability
Orphaned and vulnerable children may be living with untreated injuries, chronic illness, disability or the effects of displacement. A medical check-up can identify the need, but recovery may also require medicines, diagnostics, rehabilitation and continuing follow-up.
PIMA's active medical sponsorship route supports eligible children, widows and vulnerable families through its medical network.
Timely care can prevent a manageable condition from becoming a lasting barrier to a child's future.

Questions donors ask
Clear answers before you give
Can I give Zakat?
PIMA confirms its current appeals are eligible for both Zakat and Sadaqah. Medical need alone does not make every case or programme eligible.
What kinds of care can this fund support?
The active sponsorship programme may support medical assessment, essential medicines, treatment, rehabilitation and appropriate follow-up for eligible children and families.
Who delivers the care?
PIMA works through Palestinian doctors, nurses and trusted medical partners.
What happens if the programme changes?
If the programme changes, is fully funded or delivery becomes impossible, PIMA will apply the restricted-fund terms shown in the donation journey.
Can I give monthly?
Yes, where regular giving is available in the donation form. Monthly support helps PIMA plan check-ups, treatment and follow-up over a longer period.
How will I know what my gift supported?
PIMA will publish dated programme updates and explain any material change to the use of a restricted fund.
