Palestine International Medical Aid PIMA is working this Ramadan in Gaza. Our main projects
Almost 50,000 Palestinian children have been left without family, not only dealing with the trauma of losing one or both parents but dealing with war and often complex health conditions. Many of them, children themselves, are now solely responsible for looking after their younger siblings. The new acronym WCHSF (Wounded Child No Surviving Family) was coined for Gaza. We have a moral obligation to help. Our fund supports the medical needs of the orphans and widows.
There are 2 million refugees in Gaza. Children & vulnerable people with simple diseases have nowhere to go to seek treatment and are dying from preventable and treatable illnesses, due to absence of essential medicine following the current war.

PIMA Palestine is setting up mobile health clinics to treat displaced refugees in the new sheltered camps to avoid travel to the dangerous war zone and save lives. Patients will be able to see a doctor and have access to free medication.
We do also support the few functioning hospitals in Gaza which cannot give the most basic medical care due to absence of essential medicine. PIMA Palestine will supply such hospitals with the needed medical aid.
