Help an injured patient move from urgent treatment towards recovery

TRAUMA CARE AND RECOVERY

An injury can change a life in moments. Timely treatment, safe follow-up and rehabilitation can help a patient recover movement, independence and dignity.

Your gift can help PIMA support practical care from first treatment through recovery.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ encouraged people to seek treatment.

Supporting treatment and recovery is a practical way to protect health, ease hardship and help a person regain independence.

Reference: Sunan Abi Dawud 3855.

The medical need

Recovery often takes more than one appointment

People living with wounds, burns, fractures and infections may need assessment, treatment, dressings, referral and follow-up. Some also need physiotherapy or mobility support to regain strength and independence.

When access is disrupted, a manageable injury can become more serious and recovery can be delayed.

PIMA's response

Care built around treatment and recovery

PIMA’s published updates describe trauma and minor-injury clinics in Gaza and Lebanon, treating wounds, burns, fractures and infections. Rehabilitation is part of the wider recovery need, not a promise that every clinic or donation route provides every service.

Support the wider medical response

The form on this page selects Gaza Emergency Medical Aid. It is a broader medical appeal, not a dedicated rehabilitation fund.

PIMA’s published trauma-clinic update describes care for injuries in Gaza and Lebanon. Its separate Orphans and Widows Medical Sponsorship appeal also describes rehabilitation and assistive support.

Read the current emergency appeal and donation declaration before giving. Contact PIMA before requesting a specific clinic, rehabilitation restriction or Zakat allocation.
