Al-Shifa
A completed project, with thanks to its supporters
PIMA has completed its recent Al-Shifa A&E restoration project. This update celebrates that work and thanks everyone who supported it.
This is separate from the operating-theatre restoration reported in September 2023. Each represents a distinct part of PIMA’s hospital work.
Hospital restoration brings together usable treatment spaces, essential systems and appropriate equipment. Thank you for standing behind the medical teams and the patients they serve.

01 | Al-Shifa A&E
PIMA’s recent A&E restoration project has been completed. Thank you to everyone who supported it.

The Neonatal Care project at Al-Khair Hospital is complete. PIMA’s account describes restoring and equipping the unit for newborn care.

Al-Shifa: restoration complete, care continues
The recent Al-Shifa A&E restoration is a major milestone. PIMA is continuing to ask for support towards Al-Shifa’s running costs so that support for care continues beyond the building work.
