Saving Gaza Babies
Restoring Hope for Gaza’s Newborns
PIMA Restores Neonatal Care Unit at Al-Khair Hospital
In the midst of Gaza’s devastating healthcare crisis, PIMA has successfully restored the Neonatal Care Unit at Al-Khair Hospital, bringing critical care back to some of Gaza’s most vulnerable patients: newborn babies fighting for their lives.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the unit is now equipped to provide essential neonatal care for premature and critically ill infants who urgently need medical attention. For countless families facing fear and uncertainty, this restoration represents more than medical support, it is hope, safety, and a chance for their babies to survive and thrive.
Every incubator restored, every bed prepared, and every life supported is a reminder that compassion can rebuild what conflict has destroyed. Mothers who once feared there was nowhere to turn can now access vital care for their newborns in a safe medical environment.
This project is part of PIMA’s ongoing commitment to strengthening Gaza’s healthcare system and ensuring lifesaving services remain available despite immense challenges. Yet the need continues to grow, and ongoing support is essential to sustain neonatal care and protect the lives of Gaza’s smallest and most fragile patients.
Together, we are helping Gaza’s newborns breathe, heal, and live.
