Medical students fund & rebuilding Gaza’s medical future
The healthcare system in Gaza is near complete collapse, due to lack of essential medicine, medical equipment’s & the destroyed hospitals. Medical staff including doctors & nurses are exhausted, and yet a new generation is rising.
Medical students are continuing their education under unimaginable conditions, studying in displacement, trauma, and loss. But many now face a heartbreaking barrier:
They cannot afford to pay their university fees or complete their education.
Without support, Gaza risks losing its future medical staff.
Why This Matters
Thousands of students are pursuing health-related degrees while living through war. Many have:
- Lost family income
- Accumulated unpaid tuition fees
- No access to stable learning environments
Despite this, they continue, because they know their people needs them.
PIMA has already supported 64 medical students in 2025, helping them to stay enrolled and continue their journey
But the need is growing.
What Your Support Will Do
Through the Medical Student Fund, PIMA is working with trusted institutions like UCAS University to support the nursing students most needed in Gaza, in the specialty of midwives, general medical, theatre & surgical nursing, intensive care, physiotherapy and audiology sub-specialities.
