In September 2023, thanks to your support, PIMA successfully helped restore the operating theatre at Al-Shifa Hospital, one of Gaza’s most important medical facilities and a lifeline for thousands of patients requiring urgent surgical care.

At a time when hospitals were overwhelmed and resources severely limited, restoring this operating theatre meant more than repairing infrastructure, it meant bringing back the ability to perform emergency surgeries, treat critically injured patients, and save lives when every minute mattered.

From trauma cases and emergency procedures to life-saving surgical interventions, this restoration helped strengthen Gaza’s fragile healthcare system during one of its most difficult periods.
